Recently Stephen Blythe has been assisting clients in using Texas’ new Nondisclosure Law to assist clients with prior probations in keeping their records out of the hands of prospective employers and credit reporting agencies.
A Nondisclosure Order directs law enforcement personnel no to disclose a person’s record. In addition, the Defendant is permitted to not disclose the record on job and license applications. While Nondisclosure does not erase the record, it does seal the record.
As a result of the new Nondisclosure Law, there are now thousands of people in Texas who are eligible for nondisclosure of their criminal records. Stephen Blythe can successfully guide clients through this process.
